The software integrates a broad spectrum of creative filters—referred to as insaturators—and simulation modes—known as filmulators—encompassing various media such as expired film, digital sensors, and thermal printers. Thanks to an in-house developed engine, these elements can be combined in virtually unlimited configurations, expanding creative possibilities.

This tool aims to broaden artistic horizons by encouraging exploration of digital-image-matter characteristics—what the French refer to as "matière numérique." Regular updates will include additional simulations based on classic cameras and films, as well as vintage digital sensors and devices of interest.
